Safety is where we compete
Since our first commercial flight in 1998 we have had no hull losses and no fatal accidents. TBC
That is a system, not a run of luck. Every Yellow Wings flight is operated by two pilots — single-pilot operation is permitted on the Caravan and we do not do it. No captain takes command with fewer than 1,500 hours on type. Crews train in the simulator beyond what the regulations require. Engines are overhauled in Switzerland every 3,800 hours, compressors washed every 100, injector nozzles cleaned every 400. Our safety programme is independently audited and every approval we hold is published in full.
The network
Over 500 airfields, most of them short, unpaved and hot
We chose the Cessna Caravan for exactly that. Find the strip you need to reach, what it takes to get there, and which of our aircraft can work it at what payload.
